SURA Investment Management (Business Unit of SURA Asset Management serving the institutional segment) announced the appointment of its new Executive Director of Distribution, starting as of June 1st, Gonzalo Falcone Pino, who was holding the position of CEO of SURA Asset Management Uruguay.
Gonzalo Falcone is an economist and has extensive experience in the financial sector: he started his career in 1999 at Santander AFAP, today AFAP SURA. He held different positions in the area of Investments along 14 years, being its Investment Manager until 2012. In 2013, he took over as CEO of SURA Asset Management in Uruguay, from where he has led important projects that have contributed to the creation and consolidation of various operations and businesses, including AFAP and the Savings and Investment Unit of SURA in this country.
In his new role, Gonzalo Falcone will be responsible for the investment distribution strategy through managing relationships with local and global clients, leveraging the positioning of SURA Investment Management as the industry leader in investment solutions in Latin America
